3003 pattern deep cut engraving pattern is documented in Astra Firearms and Selected Competitors by Leonardo Antaris, pg. 420. Fixed front and rear sights with grip safety, throw lever safety, lanyard loop, and checkered magazine release. Chromed small parts with balance of pistol silver plated and deeply cut hand engraving in floral patterns and geometric borders. Proofs on rear left of frame, and Astra logo on stepped area of barrel. Pearlite grips. Housed in maroon Astra box identifying this gun by serial number and an added "207" stick over where the Astra "3003" logo should be, although discoloration in that area indicates it was removed at one point. Accessories comprise spearpoint cleaning rod and Astra manual. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the silver plate with some extremely minor marks from handling and storage. Silver is starting to tarnish in a few places, easily cleaned if desired. Engraving is crisp. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent, bright and shiny, with crisp rifling. Box is excellent with some rubs and chips, and aprons starting to separate. EW
