Peruvian Air Force Marked FN Baby Browning semi automatic pistol. Made circa 1936. Left side of the slide is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL-BELGIQUE/BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE". Peruvian Air Force mark on the right side of the slide. Most likely purchased by them in a small batch and issued to pilots. Belgian proofs on the frame, slide and barrel. No import mark found. Blade front sight with U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. "FN" monogram checkered hard rubber grips, marked "BABY" on the bottom. Unmarked blued steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips have a few scratches. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has finish wear. JWA
