Waffenfabrik Bern Swiss 1929 Luger semi automatic pistol with holster. Made early 1930s. Swiss cross and shield marked on the toggle. Waffenfabrik Bern proof on the rear of the frame, behind the toggle. Discrete import mark on the underside of the frame. Matching serials on the frame, barrel, and toggle. Blade front sight with U-notch rear. Blued finish on the metal components. Original brown plastic grips marked "MA/1494" in a circle on the left panel, in addition to a Waffenfabrik Bern logo on each panel. Blued steel magazine with a black plastic base plate. Holster is marked "G.HANEL/BERN" and dated "37". CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Magazine has light finish wear. Holster is excellent overall with light wear. Tight stitching. JWA
