12 bore with 2 - 3/4" chambers. Build on an early pre-War trap grade action, this gun is supplied with 28" barrels marked "IMP MOD" and "MOD" and a second set of 30" barrels marked "FULL" and "Full". Both barrel sets have raised, matted, two bead trap ribs and the 30" set has Winchester nomenclature on the left side. 28" are likely later Winchester ordered, with markings only in front of the water table. Both set of barrels have custom scroll in front of the breech faces. Standard blued action and fences feature 90% coverage of deep large acanthus scroll engraving. The trigger bow matches with a small 1 - 1/2" of coverage. Non-automatic safety and blued single selective trigger. Straight grain American Walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 13 - 3/4" over a 1" brown Kick-EEZ pad. Figured beavertail forend, but no cracks visible. Fine quality leather case with stitched leather edges is lined with green cloth. CONDITION: Excellent as custom finished, retaining essentially all fine finishes on wood and metal, applied at the time of refurbishment. Only scattered handling marks. Bore are excellent. Mechanically fine. Case is excellent, as is interior. JTH
