High original condition Lefever Arms Company "DS" (DurstonSpecial) Grade side by side shotgun made from 1903 to the end of Lefever production. Blued "Dura" Steel barrels with matted rib and bead front sight. Case hardened frame with "Lefever Arms Co. Syracuse, NY. U.S.A." on locks. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip with black bakelite buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: Overall good with 85% original barrel blue fading to a silvery patina in spots. 75% case colors fading to silver on the floor plate. Stocks show field usage marks and dings. Good bores and mechanics. JTH
