Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson Model 15-3 double action revolver. Made 1970. Company logo and address on the right side of the frame. Aftermarket square heavy barrel with Aristocrat top sight rail and bottom rail for weights. Square butt. Thick blade front sight with adjustable U-notch rear. Reapplied blued finish on the frame and cylinder. Case colored trigger and knurled spurred hammer. Checkered wood "S&W" monogram medallion grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its reapplied finish with some wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lockup. Some drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. (B) Smith & Wesson Model 10-5 double action revolver. Made 1968. Company logo and address on the right side of the frame. Aftermarket square heavy barrel with Bo-Mar top sight rail and bottom rail for weights. Square butt. Thick blade front sight and adjustable U-notch rear. Front sight blade has been painted red. Factory blued finish on the frame. Bobbed hammer is polished, as is the trigger. Aftermarket Herrett's checkered wood grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light handling marks and wear. Top rail has some handling marks and chips in the finish. Wood grips are excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Great timing and lockup. Of note, the bobbed hammer allows it to fire in double action only. Mechanically fine. JWA
