Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson Model 17-4 double action revolver. Made 1978. Company trademark on the right side of the frame in addition to the company address. Square butt. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and adjustable U-notch rear sight. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored serrated trigger with knurled spurred hammer. Checkered wood target grips with "S&W" monogram medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with some light finish wear and handling marks. Grips have some wear, with some cracking of the lacquered finish. Small gouge on the left panel. Clean bore with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Crisp timing and lockup. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. (B) Smith & Wesson 14-2 double action revolver. Made 1966. Company trademark on the right side of the frame in addition to the company address. Square butt frame. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and adjustable U-notch rear sight. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored serrated trigger with knurled spurred hammer. Trigger shoe attached. Checkered wood target grips with "S&W" monogram medallions. CONDITON: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light edge wear and handling marks. Grips are very good with light handling marks, wear and scratches. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good lockup and timing. Light drag lines on the cylinder.
