Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson Model 16-4 double action revolver. Made circa 1989-91. Company address on the right side of the frame. "S&W" monogram on the left side of the frame. Square frame butt. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Round, steel barrel with full rib. Blade front sight with adjustable U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Serrated trigger and knurled spurred hammer, both case hardened. Smooth finish wood grips with finger grooves and "S&W" monogram grips. Grips dated 1991 on the inside. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips have a few handling marks and scratches. Clean bore with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. (B) Smith & Wesson Model 629-3 double action revolver. Made early 1990s. Company address on the right side of the frame. "S&W" monogram on the left side of the frame. Square butt frame. Round stainless steel barrel and frame. Unfluted 6 shot cylinder. Blade front sight with adjustable U-notch rear. Front sight has been painted red. Hoque marked rubber grip with finger grooves. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Grip is excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lockup. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically excellent. JWA
