Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson Model .22/32 Heavy Frame Target double action revolver. Made circa 1910s. Top of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. PAT'D MAR.27.94/AUG.4.96.DEC.22.96.OCT.8.01.DEC.17.01.FEB.6.06.SEPT.14.09". Trade mark on the left side of the frame. Matching serials on the front strap, barrel and cylinder. Matching assembly numbers on the frame and yolk. Round butt frame. Round steel barrel with Marbles blade front sight and frame mounted adjustable U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored smooth face trigger and knurled spurred hammer. Checkered wood target grips with "S&W" monogram medallions. Includes an incorrect, unmarked blue flat board box with cleaning kit. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light finish wear and scratches. Grips have worn checkering and handling marks. Clean bore with very good rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lockup. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Box is excellent. (B) Smith & Wesson Model .22/32 Heavy Frame Target double action revolver. Made circa 1920s. Top of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored smooth face trigger and knurled spurred hammer. Checkered wood grips with "S&W" monogram medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. Grips have minor wear and handling marks. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lockup. Drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
