Serrated ramp front sight, square notch rear flat top rear sight. Left side of slide with "ITHACA GUN CO. INC / ITHACA, NY". Left side of frame with FJA inspection and P proof near magazine release, left side of trigger guard with Ithaca anvil. Right side with serial number, "7" on trigger guard and "M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY". Grips are Keyes fibre scales with reinforcing rings. Serrated narrow hammer, serrated slide release, serrated thick tab safety, checkered magazine release, long 1911A1 grip safety, arched serrated mainspring housing. Barrel with "F" on right lug, and "P" on left. Magazine with S stamp on lip for Scoville. Accompanied by 14 rounds of EC 43 head stamped .45 ACP, two extra magazines with "L" for Little and "R" for Risdon stamps on lip, and a Milwaukee Saddlery Co 1942 dated holster. Additionally, consignor states that items were all brought back by a veteran. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining the vast majority of the phosphate finish, with a some minor marks from handling and storage. Some very minor silvering at dust cover consistent with holster use and light takedown mark. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with strong rifling. Holster is excellent with some minor marks. EW
