Lot consists of (A) Portuguese Navy Contract Astra 600/43 semi-automatic pistol with holster. Made 1945. "MRP" marked on the left rear of the slide indicating Portuguese Navy use. Spanish proofs on the barrel, frame, and slide. Top of the slide is marked "UNCETA Y COMPANA S.A./GUERNICA ESPANA" and "ASTRA MOD. 600/43/9MM PARABELLUM". Import marked "MADE IN SPAIN" on the top of the slide. Matching serials on the frame and slide. Blade front sight with U-notch rear. Arsenal reapplied blued finish. Checkered wood grips. Includes 2 blued steel magazines marked "ASTRA" on the base plates. 1 magazine is numbered to a different gun. Correct black leather holster, unmarked. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its reapplied blued finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent with light wear. Bore is lightly frosted with very good rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazines have some finish wear. Holster is very good overall with light wear and handling marks. Some crazing on the flap. (B) German marked Astra Model 300 semi automatic pistol. Made 1942. Spanish proofs on the frame, slide and barrel. Astra crest on the top of the slide, near the muzzle. This gun was delivered to Heereswaffenamt on the 30th April 1942, ref: German Pistols and Holsters 1934/1935: Military - Police - NSDAP by Robert Whittington III. Correct "(eagle)/WaA251" proof on the right side of the frame. No import mark found. Matching serials on the frame and slide. Blade front sight with U-notch rear. Original blued finish. Checkered wood grips. Includes 2 "ASTRA" marked blued steel magazines. Brown leather flap holster is included. Holster is unmarked. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with some light wear and handling marks. Grips have some light finish wear. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazines have light wear. Holster is excellent with light wear. JWA
