Lot consists of (A) J.P. Sauer & Sohn Model 1919 semi automatic pistol. First variant made circa early 1920s. Barrel rib is marked "J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL". Left side of the slide is marked "PATENT", while the right side of the slide is marked "CAL. 6.35". Commercial proofs on the frame. No import/export mark found. Blade front sight and U-notch rear. Original finish on the metal components with a few areas looking to have been touched up with cold blue. Checkered hard rubber grips marked "S&S" on the top. Blued steel magazine marked "S&S6.35" on the left side. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its blued finish with some edge wear and handling marks. Nice fire blue on the safety and chamber indicator. Grips are excellent with a few handling marks. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. (B) Factory engraved Astra 200 "Firecat" semi automatic pistol. Made 1960s in Spain. Marked "Unceta y Compania S.A." on the left side of the frame. "MADE IN SPAIN" marked on the left side of the slide. Spanish proofs on the barrel. Matching serial numbers on the frame, slide and barrel. Standard U-notch cut out sights. Factory silver floral engraving on the frame and slide. Simulated pearl grips. Astra marked nickel plated magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with some wear and handling marks. Very light tarnish in the engraving. Grips have some discoloration, but appear solid. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has some finish wear. JWA
