Lot consists of (A) Colt Army Special double action revolver. Made 1927. Left side of the barrel is marked "COLT ARMY/SPECIAL .32-20 W.C.F.". Top of the barrel is marked "COLT's PT F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT U.S.A./PAT'D AUG. 5, 1884. JULY 4,1905. OCT. 5,1926.". Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. Trigger guard marked with typical "VP" proof. Matching serials on the frame and crane. Round steel barrel with half moon blade front sight and U-notch rear. Factory blued finished with a polished hammer. Reproduction Colt marked checkered plastic grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with some splotches of cleaned surface rust. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good lockup and timing. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. (B) Colt Police Positive Target double action revolver. Made 1933. Left side of the barrel is marked "COLT POLICE/POSITIVE TARGET, CAL.22". Top of the barrel is marked "COLT's PT F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT U.S.A./PAT'D AUG. 5, 1884. JULY 4,1905. OCT. 5,1926.". Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. Trigger guard marked with typical "VP" proof. Matching serials on the frame and crane. Round steel barrel with adjustable blade front sight and U-notch rear. Blued finish on the metal components. Cylinder is a fire blue finish. Knurled finish on the trigger, hammer and cylinder lock. Checkered wood grips with Colt medallions. CONDITON: Metal retains 85% of its finishes with general wear and handling marks. Grips have light finish wear, along with a few handing marks and scratches. Clean bore with very good overall rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lockup. Drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
