Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson Model 25-9 double action revolver. Made 1990. Trademark on the left side of the frame, with the company on the right. Matching serials on the butt and frame. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Square butt frame. Grips dated "SEP 12 1990". Round, steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and adjustable U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored serrated trigger with knurled spurred hammer. Checkered wood target grips with "S&W" monogram medallions. CONDITON: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Grips are excellent. Sharp bore with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Excellent timing and lockup. Mechanically excellent. Light drag lines on the cylinder. (B) Smith & Wesson Model Pre-Model 27 double action revolver. Made 1956-7. Company trademark and address on the right side of the frame. Matching serials on the butt, barrel and cylinder. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Square butt frame. Pinned, round steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored serrated trigger with knurled spurred hammer. Checkered wood grips with "S&W" monogram medallions. CONDTION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. There are some areas of cleaned pitting on the both sides of the barrel and cylinder. Grips are excellent with a few handling marks. Cleaned bore with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lockup. Drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
