Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson 29-3 double action revolver. Made 1988. Company address and logo on the right side of the frame. Square butt frame. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Round steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and U-notch adjustable rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored serrated trigger and knurled spurred hammer. Aftermarket oil finished wood grip with finger grooves. CONDITON: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Grip is excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lockup. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. (B) Smith & Wesson 29-2 double action revolver. Made 1973. Company address and logo on the right side of the frame. Square butt frame. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Round steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and U-notch adjustable rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored serrated trigger and knurled spurred hammer. Checkered wood target grips with "S&W" monogram medallions. Includes a blue Smith & Wesson flat board box for a Model 24 revolver. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its finish with some wear and handling marks. The cylinder has some wear and tarnish. Grip is excellent. Clean bore with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lockup. Some drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Box has light edge wear. JWA
