Lot consists of: (A) Thompson Center Compass bolt action rifle. Made by Smith & Wesson. Round steel barrel with unmarked added muzzle device. No iron sights. Factory drilled for a scope mount, no screws or mount present. Matte blued finish on the metal components. Synthetic stock with capped pistol grip. Ribbing on the forearm and wrist. Factory rubber butt pad and sling studs. 4 shot polymer magazine included, in addition to the original box. CONDITON: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Stock is excellent as well. Sharp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. (B) Howa Model 1500 bolt action rifle. Made in Japan by Howa and imported by LSI. Right side of the stock is marked “RANCHLAND SECURITY” in a circled logo, with a coyote in the middle. Round, steel barrel with no iron sights. Factory drilled receiver with Weaver style mount. Blued finish on the metal components. Green rubberized stock with knurling on the wrist and forearm. Rubber butt pad. Sling studs present. Includes original box as well. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Stock is excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Box is excellent. JWA
