Ithaca "Flues" Model Grade 4 single barrel trap gun made by the Ithaca Gun Company, Ithaca, New York in 1917. Blued steel barrel with ventilated rib, bead front sight, and ejector. Case hardened "Flues" style frame with typical scroll and Trapshooter engraving with no safety and single trigger. Walnut fleur de lis style checkered pistol grip stock with added rubber recoil pad and black plastic grip cap. Walnut Ithaca style beavertail forearm with push button release and added grip sides. Stock has vanity shield with "A.H. Trumbull Bridgeport, Conn." CONDITION: 70% fading blue with some light frosting and some areas of surface pitting. Action has turned a plum patina with light surface corrosion. Wood has oil soaked appearance with checkering worn flat and usage marks and dings. Butt cut with added pad. Good bore and mechanics.
