Manufactured by Colt in 1966, this Colt Trooper features all blue finish and is fitted with a 4" .357 Magnum bull barrel, which includes a 1 piece ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight on the frame. Hammer and rear grip strap are serrated, with the hammer being checkered. The top of the hammer and top strap of the frame are finished in matte blue. Revolver is mounted with 2-piece checkered walnut Colt silver medallion grips. Left side of barrel is marked "TROOPER .357/ .357 MAGNUM CTG.", with the right side bearing Colt's single line address. Rampart Colt logo and "VP" proof are present on the left side of the frame. Frame and cylinder crane are matching. Grips have their serial number handwritten on the interior of the panels and match themselves. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few minor handling marks, as well as a light dragline and some areas of wear on the cylinder. Bore is bright, showing what appears to be some hardened grease and retaining good rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips show some smoothing as well as a few minor nicks and impressions. -MLW-
