Savage Anschutz Match 64C bolt action .22 LR target rifle, made in 1966. Left side of receiver is marked "Savage, Westfield, Mass, U.S.A." and "Anschutz, Ulm, West Germany". Left side of barrel has the West German "Nitro" proof and date of "66". No import mark. Serial number present on receiver only. Steel target barrel has all 3 of its factory mounted Unertl bases. Front diopter sight with insert, and a functional Anschutz rear diopter sight assembly with rubber eyepiece are present. Pencil etched rear sight assembly serial number does not match the rifle. Beech wood stock with checkered grips, and lower front rail appear undamaged. Correct adjustable butt plate is present, as well as blued metal trigger guard. CONDITION: Excellent plus. Metal retains 95+% of its original blued finish. Stock and fittings are undamaged, and rear sight assembly exhibits light wear. Mechanically fine. WZ
