Anschutz Model 54 MS Silhouette bolt action rifle. Made 1985. German proofs on the receiver, bolt and barrel. Barrel is marked "Anschutz Match Mod. 54 MS/Cal. .22 Long rifle". Left side of the receiver marked "J.G. Anschutz GmbH Ulm West-Germany". Bolt face numbered "279" to match the rifle. Round steel barrel with no iron sights. Added weaver style scope blocks on the grooved receiver. Blued receiver and barrel. Fully adjustable 2 stage trigger. Walnut stock with textured forearm and grip. Full rubber butt pad. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light edge wear and handling marks. Wood stock has a few handling marks and scratches. There is a light scratch on the right side of the fore stock. Clean bore with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
