Scarce Danish Gevaer M/50 semi-automatic rifle manufactured in Italy by Beretta. This was the standard issue rifle for the Danish military from approximately 1950-1975. The Gevaer M/50 was supplied by various manufactures including surplus USGI Garands and Italian manufactured Garands made by Beretta and Breda. 24" Danish manufactured barrel chambered in .30-06 Springfield dated "11-61" with matching Beretta parts including trigger group, receiver, operating rod, follower assembly, front and rear sights, and the stock, which is serial numbered to the gun. Receiver is marked "(Danish Crown) / FKF / Nr". Gas plug is marked "NHC". CONDTION: Excellent plus, with nearly all of the original parkerizing remaining, with minor handling marks. Bolt appears to have some finish reapplied and is electropencilled with "2451" on the bolt body. Stock is very good and strong with no visible cracks but heavy handling marks throughout. Checkered steel buttplate shows heavy wear. Action works correctly when cycled by hand. Bore has some darkness in the grooves but retains sharp rifling. TE: 4 ME: 4. Overall a great example of a hard to find M1 Garand pattern rifle. TON
