Lot consists of: (A) Savage Model 23B Sporter bolt action magazine fed rifle in .25-20 W.C.F. made by Savage Arms Company between 1923 and 1942. Blued round barrel and action with dovetailed blade front sight and plugged rear sight with Redfield receiver sight. Action factory drilled on top for scope mounting with 2 holes. Walnut wood stock with blued hardware and schnabel forend. Comes with original stamped magazine. CONDITION: 90% original blue with some light handling marks. 80% original varnish with some light handling and usage marks. Good bore and mechanics. Nice rifle. (B) Savage Model 23AA Sporter bolt action magazine fed rifle in .22 rimfire made by Savage Arms Company from 1933 to 1942. Blued round rifled barrel with dovetailed front sight and plugged rear sight. Gun is drilled on barrel and receiver with a Lyman 438 "FIELD" crosshair scope installed. Action has 4 non-factory extra holes and is missing magazine. Walnut wood plain pistol grip stock with schnabel forend and non-factory sling swivels. CONDITION: Overall fair with with 80% fading blue and 60% fading varnish with usage marks and dings. Good bore with good optics and mechanics. DLM
