Lot consists of (A) Swedish M96 bolt action rifle. "1917" dated chamber and marked "CARL GUSTAFS STADS/GEVARSFAKTORI". Swedish crown proofs on the stock as well. Unit disk on the right side of the stock marked "F10/2014", in addition to the typical yellow range data sticker. Import marked on the bottom of the barrel. Matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt, safety, cocker, firing pin, floorplate, rear sight, rear sight leaf, front band, rear band, and butt plate. Cleaning rod is mismatched. Typical military blued finish on the metal components with the bolt polished. Stock has been lightly refinished. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with some wear and handling marks. There is some surface rust at the top of the butt plate. Stock is very good with minor dings, scratches and dents. There is a minor gouge at the stock line of the forestock. Frosted bore with very good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Swiss K-31 straight pull bolt action rifle. Made 1944. Typical cross and shield crest on the chamber. No troop tag under the buttplate. Import marked under the barrel. Matching serials on the receiver, barrel, bolt and rear band. Magazine is mismatched. Original finish on the metal components. Stock has been lightly sanded with a light coat of oil applied. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. Wood has dings, scratches and handling marks. There is a 3 - 1/2" crack on the right side of the stock under the receiver. Bore is lightly frosted with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
