Manufactured by Mauser for the German military in World War II. 1938 is stamped over the chamber and S/42 is on the front toggle link. Extractor is marked “GELADEN” and the safety is marked “GESICHERT” in the upper position. V-notch rear sight and a windage adjustable front sight. All matching numbers except the magazine. The magazine is number 1457o + Eagle 63. Comes in a E.G.LEUNER Gmb.H. /BAUTZEN / 1941 holster with aWaA159 proof on it, with extra magazine numbered 1208 and unmarked loading tool. CONDITION: Gun retains 70% of the original factory blue finish. With most of the finish loss to the front and rear grip straps. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Checkering on the grips show normal wear. Holster is scuffed and crazed with tight and serviceable stitching. REW
