Lot consists of (A) Stevens Model 416 bolt action target style .22 rimfire rifle made by the Stevens Arms Company, Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts in the 1930s. Blued medium weight round rifled barrel and marked with Stevens Model and Address and "STEVENS X BARREL" with hooded front sight. Blued action with 5 round magazine and blued bolt factory bent for scope application. Action has side mounted Weaver B4 crosshair scope and is drilled for side mount peep. Walnut plain marksman style stock with steel target hardware and steel serrated buttplate. CONDITION: Metal has light freckling with wood having a cleaned appearance with light scratches and dings. Scope has bubbling in lens. Good bore with good mechanics. (B) Stevens Model 416 with "U.S. Property" markings on action. Gun identical to previous gun with exception of scope blocks and Government markings including flaming bomb on receiver. CONDITION: 80% fading blue with some light freckling. Barrel drilled for scope blocks and is missing clip and receiver sight. Wood has dry appearance with handling marks and dings. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
