Lot consists of: (A) Savage Arms Model 45 "Super Sporter" magazine fed bolt action rifle made from 1928 to 1940. Blued High Pressure Proof Steel round rifled barrel with integral front ramp sight with blade, missing rear dovetail sight. Blued action drilled for scope mounting with 5 shot magazine and blued bolt with knurled cocking knob. 1 piece plain walnut pistol grip stock with Savage logo steel serrated buttplate and added sling swivels. CONDITION: Barrel has added blue with some pitting covered with blue. Action has been drilled and stock has added finish with handling marks and dings. Shootable bore and good mechanics. (B) Savage Model 23AA bolt action magazine fed .22 caliber rimfire rifle made by Savage Arms Company from 1933 to 1942. Blued round steel rifled barrel with unmarked globe front sight and plugged dovetail rear sight with Savage Model 23AA marking and "SPORTER" logo and Savage Address. Blued action with Savage marked 5 round magazine with non-factory mounted Redfield 4X crosshair scope and Redfield rear receiver peep sight. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with schnabel forend and Savage marked serrated steel buttplate and factory sling swivels. CONDITION: 90% original blue with some handling scratches. 90% original varnish with sharp checkering and some flaking marks and dings. Good bore and mechanics with clear optics. DLM
