1890 vintage third model Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle, serial number 326736B. 24" octagon barrel chambered in .38 Winchester Center Fire (.38-40 WCF) with standard rear sight and German silver blade front. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate with butt trap (trap is empty). CONDITION: Good overall with virtually all of the original bluing turned to an even brown patina. Brass cartridge elevator is a pleasing mustard patina with caliber marking still visible. Stock is good with numerous dents, dings, and handling marks but no discernable cracks. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand but is loose. Sliding dust cover is extremely loose. Bore is dark with heavy abrasion but visible, defined rifling. TON
