BSA Martini single shot target rifle in .22 LR. Marked on the right side receiver and barrel "B.S.A. MARTINI INTERNATIONAL MKII", British proofs, .22 LR, and serial number. Left side of receiver is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND", and trigger assembly states "PATENT APPLIED FOR". Import marked "HAB SCOTT, INDIAOLA, MS.", with serial number only visible on receiver. Heavy target barrel has its original finish, with a front sight base present. Rear of barrel has the correct longer sight base. Oil finished stock has lower embedded rail with five adjustment holes. 7 front diopter sight inserts are located on the lower firearm and secured by a cap. A Tasco "Custom Shop" 8-40x56mm scope is mounted to the rifle via a Redfield base. The Redfield base is mounted to the rear sight rail. CONDITION: Excellent. Metal retains 95% of its original blued finish. Wood has several light scratches on the forearm left side. Lightly worn Tasco scope power adjustment, parallax, and focus function properly. Factory rear sight base was slightly modified by filing the front groves about one half inch to accept the Redfield base. Strong rifling with bright bore. Mechanically fine. WZ
