Semi-automatic 38A rifle, manufactured from surplus Beretta Model 38A components by an unknown manufacturer. Metal components have been refinished in a matte black finish. Receiver stampings stipulating manufacturer, model, and caliber are partially obliterated from when this receiver was deactivated. Receiver and bolt are matching, with the stock matching via an overstamped number. This example is accompanied by 4 total stick magazines, as well as a 4 cell canvas magazine pouch. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their reapplied finish, exhibiting a few areas with minor nicks and wear that show through to silvering in some areas. Bore is bright, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Stock shows numerous handling marks, but is entirely serviceable. Magazines show some scattered marks from handling and use as well as areas of light oxidation, with all appearing to be serviceable. Magazine pouch shows some superficial wear, retaining good stitching all around. -MLW-
