Winchester Pattern 1917 bolt action magazine rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1918. Military finished round rifled barrel with "W" and Flaming Bomb markings and dated "3-18". Dark military finished action with correct rear graduated flip sight. Bolt is marked with "NS" and "W" for Winchester. All hardware appears to be correct but not marked. Walnut military style stock with a "T" that appears stamped over an "R" on the end. Comes with 1917 dated "W" marked bayonet with wood handle and hard leather green sheath marked "G&K" and dated 1917. CONDITION: 70% original military style finish with areas of carry wear. Sling bands appear to be replacements with finish differing. Floorplate has been cleaned with silvery surface exposed. Wood has been sanded and is a probable replacement. Good bore with ME of 2 and excellent mechanics. DLM
