Lot consists of: (A) Tower marked Brown Bess reproduction by unknown maker. In the white smoothbore barrel with notched front sight for socket bayonet installation. Tower marked flint lock with "(Crown) / GR". Walnut full military stock with brass furniture. Comes with steel ramrod and reproduction bayonet. CONDITION: Gun has aged look with some light freckling. Wood has light usage marks. Shootable bore and good mechanics. (B) French Model 1777 "Charleville" style flint lock musket. In the white round smoothbore barrel with sight on last barrel band and socket bayonet lug on bottom of barrel. Flint lock unmarked with brass pan and single trigger control. Walnut full military stock with three iron barrel bands and iron furniture. Comes with original steel ramrod. CONDITION: Overall fair with metal fading to an aged patina. Lock is a reconversion with wood erosion from percussion caps around tang. Wood has aged oil soaked appearance which adds to the guns appeal. Dark pitted bore with good mechanics. DLM
