Springfield Model 1922 M1 bolt action magazine fed .22 caliber rifle made at Springfield Armory between 1924 and 1933. Blued round rifled barrel marked "SA" with Flaming Bomb and dated "8-26". Blued action marked "U.S. Springfield Armory Model of 1922 M1 Cal. 22" with polished bolt numbered to gun and a Lyman 48C rear receiver sight. Barrel and action have been drilled for scope mounting. Walnut N.R.A. style stock with steel checkered N.R.A. style buttplate. Correct blued stock hardware with correct 5 round magazine. Comes with leather military style sling. CONDITION: 90% barrel and action blue with stock hardware wear on edges and turning a shade of plum patina. Wood has 80% plus remaining hand rubbed finish with some light dings and scratches. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
