Springfield Model 1903A1 bolt action magazine rifle and one of 11,000 made as a National Match by the Springfield Armory. Blued rifled Star Gauged barrel marked with "SA", Flaming Bomb, and dated "3-36". 1 of 1200 made in 1936. Banded blade front sight with brass P.J. O'Hare sight cover. Rear graduated flip style sight with blued steel P.J. O'Hare sight cover. Dark finished action made in 1934 with electropencilled matching numbered polished "NS" (Nickel Steel) marked bolt with "F" stamping on the underside. Walnut "C" style 2 bolt stock with correct "SA", "SPG" inspection stamp in box and numbered to gun. Correct checkered marksman style buttplate with dark finish milled trigger guard. Correct walnut high hump top wood. CONDITION: 80% original arsenal finish remaining with edges starting to wear to a silvery patina. 80% remaining hand rubbed stock finish with some minor dings and marks. Good bore with ME of 1 and TE of 2. Good mechanics. A rare rifle with condition. DLM
