Lot consists of: (A) WWII USMC bolo knife. The knife is marked "U.S.M.C / BRIDDELL" on the blade and the scabbard is marked "USMC / BOYT / 45". CONDITION: The blade measures 11 - 1/4" and is very clean with scattered light blemishes. The wood handle is also very clean but displays service wear. Leather scabbard is in very good condition and exhibits slight blemishes from service wear. Overall very good. (B) Very clean World War I Springfield Arsenal bolo knife. The knife is marked "SA / 1911" on the obverse ricasso and "US / 2785" on the reverse ricasso. The wood scabbard is complete with its original canvas covering that displays ink markings. CONDITION: The blade measures 10" and displays slight blemishes and evidence of sharpening. The wood handle displays scratches and service wear. The scabbard exhibits staining from paint and leather cracking. Overall very good. (C) World War I trench knife marked "U.S. / L.F. & C. / 1917" on the top of the guard. The knife is complete with its original green painted leather scabbard that is marked "M.S." and "Jewell 1918". CONDITION: The triangular shaped blade measures 9" and is very clean, exhibiting most of its original bluing. There are slight drag lines visible from being removed from the scabbard. The knuckle guard exhibits slight blemishes but retains most of its original bluing. The scabbard is very clean and retains most of its original green paint. Overall very good. (D) World War II USN marked KA-BAR knife. The knife is marked "USN" on the obverse ricasso and "KA-BAR / Olean N.Y." on the reverse ricasso. CONDITION: The blade measures 7" and displays slight blemishes and evidence of sharpening. The handle displays service wear. Leather scabbard is unmarked and remains soft and pliable. Overall very good. (E) US M5A1 bayonet contained in an M8A1 scabbard. The bayonet is marked "U.S. M5A1 / MIL PAR COL" and the scabbard is marked U.S. M8A1 / B.M. CO." CONDITION: The blade measures 6 - 5/8" and is preserved in grease retaining most of its original finish. The handle exhibits some scuffs and the scabbard retains most of its original green paint. Overall excellent. JLD
