Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson Hand Ejector Model of 1905 4th Change double action revolver. Made circa 1920s. Top of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A./PATENTED OCTOBER. 8. 1901. DEC. 17. 1901/FEB. 6. 1906. SEPT. 14. 1909. DEC. 29. 1914". Right side of the barrel is marked "38 S.&W. SPECIAL CTG", while the left side is marked "SMITH & WESSON". Matching serials on the butt, cylinder and barrel. Matching assembly numbers on the frame and crane. Round, steel, pinned barrel with half moon front sight. Square butt. 6 shot cylinder. Factory blued finish on the barrel, frame, and cylinder. Case colored smooth face trigger and knurled spurred hammer. Checkered wood "S&W" monogram grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with some light freckling of surface rust and wear. Grips are excellent with a few handling marks. Bore is frosted with very good overall rifling. tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lockup. Drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. (B) Smith & Wesson Model 60 double action revolver. Made circa 1979. Trademark on the left side of the frame, with the company address on the right side. Matching serials on the butt, barrel and cylinder. Round butt frame. 5 shot cylinder. Round, stainless steel pinned barrel with ramped blade front sight and U-notch cut out rear. Stainless frame and cylinder as well. Serrated trigger with a knurled hammer. Checkered rubber Pachmayr grips. Includes a leather holster with metal belt clip. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light wear and scratches. Grip is excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Holster is excellent. JWA
