A lovely leaded glass shade by Phillip Semmer on a patinated Pittsburgh owl base. The leaded glass shade features a background geometric tiles in various shades of greens. The glass has a granite texture, which faces the outside of the shade, rather than the typical practice of having this textured surface on the inside. This peculiarity is a common feature of Semmer shades. Laid against the background are orange flowers and green leaves. The shade measures 18” across and is in excellent condition, with no loose or missing glass, and just a very few tight hairlines. Some moderate loss to the patina on the leading. The shade sits on a three-socket Pittsburgh Owl base. The base is finished in a rich brown patina and is in excellent condition, with no cracks or dents, and no appreciable loss to the finish. The lamp stands 22” tall.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
