Kentucky-style percussion rifle which looks to be a restock of older parts. Large caliber octagon smoothbore barrel with rifle sights. Ketland marked lock which was originally a flintlock with single trigger control. Walnut full stock with brass furniture including 4-piece brass patchbox and unusual wide bow trigger guard. Gun has interesting clean-out system for bolster with bolt going out the left side of the breech. Comes with hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Overall good condition with gun having an overall aged look to it. Forestock last 2" are replaced with new nosepiece. Dark bore with functioning mechanics. DLM
