A lovely obverse painted boudoir lamp by Handel. The shade has a lovely golden orange background with subtle iridescence. The shade has painted trees and birds in various autumn tones of green, brown, tan, orange and red. The shade is 6 - 1/2” in diameter and in excellent condition, free of any cracks, chips or loss to the paint. Shade is signed "Handel 6911" and "F. Gubisch". The shade sits on a small Handel single socket tree base. The base is finished in a rich red/brown patina. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, or appreciable loss to the finish. Underside of base is signed "Handel". Overall the lamp stands 15” tall.
