Single edge spear point blade with sharpened false edge, unmarked as to maker but distinctly by John Ek, and carrying markings “1” for the model number and serial number “K138”. Rock maple handle with large diameter poured lead rivets, extended butt serves as either a tool or weapon. Riveted leather sheath with pouch for sharpening stone is a period replacement. Comes with original copy of Ek’s booklet “Your Silent Partner” and unsigned Ek card with address including zip code. CONDITION: Both knife and sheath appear to be in near mint condition, unsharpened and unused. A very fine example of a Vietnam era John Ek knife. MZ
