Lot consists of (A) Excavated Springfield Model 1861 rifled musket found at unknown time and location. Gun has barrel, lock, forestock and buttplate nicely mounted on finished pine board. CONDITION: As found in relic condition with nice mounting. (B) Relic Sharps Carbine, which consignor states was excavated near Gettysburg. Nicely mounted on a finished pine board with consignor provenance. CONDITION: As found with pitted surface. Missing internal parts and wood. Nicely mounted. A pair of great display pieces. DLM
