Uncolored engraving done by Henri Abraham Chatelain (1684-1743) for the famous encyclopedic "Atlas Historique" printed in Amsterdam from 1705 to 1739. It depicts various styles of period fortification and arms with labels. Framed in a gilt wooded frame. View 25" x 21 - 1/4". Overall 30" x 26 - 1/2" CONDITION: Print very good with some light discoloration and creases from folding. Frame retains portions of gilding with dings and wear. BAS
