World War I era U.S. Navy "big eye" ship's bridge binoculars mount. The elevation control is functioning. The mount measures approximately 5' from the base of the pedestal to the top when the elevation control is extended and of the mount and approximately 42" when the elevation control is distended. The mount is constructed of polished steel and the pedestal is marked "A21 BU 321-5-1 USN". The mount is finely polished and remains bright while exhibiting scattered scuffs, scratches, and light pitting. CONDITION: Very good. JLD
