14k pink gold LeCoultre duo date calendar wristwatch, Ref. 2192. This watch was awarded at a golf tournament, and has a beautiful hand engraved presentation caseback with facsimile autographs, marked "Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Lakeside Invitational, 1944, 1st Amatuer". Case diameter measures 31mm. Inside caseback marked "AH, 14K, 2192". Manual wind mechanical 15 jewel movement marked "44034, Swiss, LeCoultre Co". Worn stitched brown leather strap installed with 14k rose gold tang/buckle, marked "Hadley 14k". Caseback is not staying completely closed, and is slightly dented. Watch is currently running, with calendar functions tested and working. Prior information states that this watch was originally sold at the Lakeside Golf Club in Burbank, CA on July 31, 1944, during a golf tournament and auction held to raise money for War Bonds. It was hosted by these two entertainment legends (Hope/Crosby), as well as Frank Sinatra and Kay Kyser.
