Lot consists of: (A) Complete U.S. Army Embroidered Insignia Album. This is the type album that could have been purchased from Patch King or Hobby Guild which was used as a way to stimulate the hobby in order to encourage people to start collecting. The patches could be ordered or collected and glued in the album. This album contains 150+ patches that are glued to 11 pages. The album includes insignia from service commands, bases, divisions, some of which are airborne and other desirable units. Most patches are machine embroidered and unused, while others are constructed differently and show edge wear. The album cover exhibits staining and other blemishes, but the album remains intact. The pages are in good condition with some exhibiting edge wear and small tears. CONDITION: Good. (B) "American Military Insignia" by William Fowler. The book is complete with all of its pages and dust jacket. The dust jacket has some small tears. CONDITION: Very good. JLD
