Mid-19th century, signed "Schilt de Sèvres" at the base of the urn for Louis Pierre Schilt (French, 1790 - 1859). Exceptional gilt bronze frame with vines, acanthus leaves and foliage. Porcelain vase has hand-painted decoration on one side with a Greek style goddess and two romantic cherubim; the other side with a single cherub in flight hold a torch. Throat is cobalt enamel with applied gilt decoration. Base impressed "2080". No lid present. 21" high, diameter 9".

Condition: (Very Good).
