Percussion side by side shotgun made by Nelson Delany of Reading, Pennsylvania circa 1848-1885. Cast steel smoothbore barrels with smooth matted rib and bead front sight. Percussion locks stamped "N. Delany" with external hammers and double triggers. Walnut checkered stock with iron furniture with "Pineapple" finial trigger guard. Comes with original hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Overall fair with surface pitting and discoloration. Replaced nipples. Wood has dark aged appearance with usage marks and dings. Dark bores with good mechanics. Shotguns by Kentucky gunsmiths are not often encountered. DLM
