Winchester Model 1895 Theodore Roosevelt Father of Conservation Sesquicentennial lever action rifle. 24" heavy contour round barrel with rifle rear sight and blade front. Receiver is coined finish and is laser engraved in nearly full coverage with scrolls and depictions of bear, elk, ram, mountain goat, mountain lion, white tail buck, and a portrait of Theodore Roosevelt in gold on either side near lever. 2 piece checkered walnut stock and schanbel forearm complete with blued steel shotgun buttplate. Complete with factory box serial numbered to the gun. CONDITION: Excellent plus, with virtually all of the original finishes remaining with the exception of scattered light handling marks throughout. Stock and forearm are in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Box is very good with wear throughout, especially on high edges. TON
