Browning Model 71 High Grade lever action rifle made in Japan by Miroku with factory box. 20" round barrel chambered in .348 Winchester with rifle rear sight, ramped hooded blade front, and 1/2 length magazine tube. Coin finished receiver is machine engraved with scrolls and gilded game scenes on either side. Left side of receiver features two bull elk and right side features small image of a buck mid-jump. 2 piece checkered walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and blued checkered shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, with nearly all of the original finishes remaining with the exception of minor handling marks throughout. Stock and forearm are in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand and is tight. Bore is bright with crisp rifling. Box is good with wear at high edges and tearing near label. TON
