Winchester Model 70 pre-64 bolt action magazine rifle made in 1949. Blued original Winchester Proof Steel barrel rechambered to .300 Weatherby Mag from the original Holland and Holland round by an unknown gunsmith with original hooded ramp front sight and missing dovetail rear. Blued original action with highly engraved floorplate marked "Waffen Bock Frankfurt". This could also be the gunsmith responsible for the other work. Gun has walnut Monte Carlo pistol grip stock with skipline checkering, Neidner style buttplate, steel gripcap, and German silver stock shield. Comes with Redfield 6x18 power scope. CONDITION: 90% plus condition with handling and usage marks. Good bore, mechanics and optics. A nicely built rifle. DLM
