Extremely desirable Barbie, no box, stand, or outfit included. Slight paint loss to upper lip, ears are pierced but earrings are not present. Barbie is stamped "Japan" on heel of right foot and "29" on back side. Both feet have holes for her original stand however, metal inserts and stand are not included. Barbie has been professionally cleaned.
CORRECTION: Title updated. This is an exceptional example of Mattel’s first issue Barbie. First produced in 1959 this doll exhibits rare first run hand painted eye brows. Top collectors believe these hand painted eye brow #1 Barbies to be the very first run of what became the most iconic doll of all time. This doll is in exceptional condition with gorgeous face paint and a complete head of hair. Her hair has been professionally restyled to the set she would have had when new. No box, stand, or outfit included. Ears are pierced but earrings are not present. Barbie is stamped "Japan" on heel of right foot and "29" on back side.
